How to Remove All Viruses from Your PC for Free

1. Clean Your PC from Viruses with Kaspersky Rescue Disk

The benefit of KRD (Kaspersky Rescue Disk) is its thorough scan of the system before it starts, it also uses the Cloud for a better scan.

So make sure you have an internet connection or Wi-Fi nearby.

First, download your ISO from this official URL: https://support.kaspersky.com/14229

Also, you will need Rufus, so download it from here: https://rufus.ie/

After downloading the ISO launch Rufus and select the ISO, set the Partition scheme to MBR, the Target system to BIOS or UEFI, the File system to Large FAT32 and click “START“”.

Confirm by clicking “Yes“.

Choose “Write in ISO Image mode” and click “OK“.

Click “OK” to confirm that data will be destroyed and can’t be retrieved after.

Restart your PC and boot onto your USB drive, each PC has its key but the recommended way is to enter into the BIOS and set the USB boot order first.

First, you will be prompted with a language selection menu, choose “English“.

Next, choose the “Kaspersky Rescue Disk. Graphic mode“.

Wait for a couple of seconds…

Check “I confirm that I have fully read, understand and accept the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement” and the second confirmation too, and click “Accept“.

Connect to your Wi-Fi network using your password and start the scan.

The scan will take a few minutes… after that restart your PC and continue with Malwarebytes.

2. Remove All Malware and Viruses with Malwarebytes

Start by downloading Malwarebytes from this official URL: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download

After the download is finished launch the program and click on “Run“”.

Choose “Personal Computer“.

Click on “Install“.

Wait for a couple of seconds…

After the installation, the program will launch automatically, click “Get started“.

Click on the “Scan” button in the middle.

Wait for a couple minutes…

Click on “Quarantine“.
