Do you want to record Skype calls for professional reasons?
As you know Skype was bought by Microsoft in 2011, it comes pre-installed with every Windows 10 computer, so you don’t need to install it.
Skype is widely used in the professional space and is also used by everyday users to exchange messages and video calls, or to sell consulting services or to teach online.
Since September 2018 it’s possible to record your calls and have them on the Cloud for a maximum of 30 days for you to save anytime you want.
Each Skype call recorded is shared between both users in the conversation.
In this tutorial, you will discover the secret menu that allows you to record any Skype call without using any third-party software.
Let’s go!
Record Skype Calls on Windows 10
I called myself to demonstrate how to record a call, it’s very easy!

While in a Skype call, click on “More” and choose “Start recording“.

Starting recording…

A timer will be displayed showing you how long the recording is so far… Click “Stop recording” to end.
When the recording ends the call it’s cut, you can still keep talking as long as you wish… When you stop the call all the recordings will be shown in the conversation.

As an example, I did one recording in my call session, both users will receive the recording.

The recording will be available for 30 days only, you need to save the recording, right-click on any place and choose “Save as…“.

Choose a location to save your recording and click “Save“.

There you have it, you just learned how to record your Skype calls.
