Do you want to play the old MS-DOS games on Windows 10?
Back in the days of MS-DOS, people used to play games like Dave, PAC-MAN, Doom…
These games are no longer available in recent operating systems but there is always a way to play them.
In this tutorial, you will discover how to download the emulator, the DOS games, and how to play them right on your Windows 10 computer.
We will be using the DOSBox emulator and the website DosGames.com for downloading the games.
Let’s go!
Play MS-DOS Games Right on Your Windows 10 PC

Click “Install“, you can change the destination folder as you wish.
Download a DOS Game
You can find more than 1k games on a website called: https://www.dosgames.com/
I have chosen to download a game similar to PAC-MAN, called CD-Man. Just click on the green button to download for free.
After the download is finished, unzip the contents in a folder under your C:
drive for fast launch.
Launching the DOS Game
Double-click on the DOSBox shortcut on your Desktop.
An MS-DOS like window will open, now we will need to use 3 commands to launch the game, easy peasy!
Use the following commands, note that the game contents are unzipped to C:\game
and the game launcher is CD-MAN
, change accordingly.
mount C C:\game C: CD-MAN
After the game is launched press enter.
Here is a screenshot of me playing CD-MAN!
