Check Windows 10 Settings App to Fix Webcam
Open your Settings app using the Windows+I keyboard shortcut, click on “Privacy“”.
Open the “Camera” page, and make sure you are allowing apps to access the camera.
Uninstall Camera in Device Manager for Easy Fix
Right-click on the Start icon and choose “Device Manager“, you can open this menu also using the Windows+X keyboard shortcut.
Open the “Imaging devices” to show your webcam. Right-click on your webcam and choose “Uninstall device“.
Don’t delete the driver software, just click “Uninstall“.
Go to the “Action” menu and click “Scan for hardware changes“.

Fix Webcam Using Registry Editor
Open Run prompt using the Windows+R keyboard shortcut, type in
regedit and hit Enter.
Navigate to this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform
Right-click on the right side and choose “New” > “DWORD (32-bit) Value” and name it
Double-click on “EnableFrameServerMode” and make sure its value is
0. Click “OK“.
Open Your Camera App to Check
Open the Camera app from Start.
Your webcam should be working now!
