1. Uninstall Microsoft Photos App Using PowerShell
The first step is to uninstall the application using PowerShell, so you know what to do right?
Launch the PowerShell from the Start menu as administrator.

Execute the following command:
Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.Photos | Remove-AppxPackage

2. Reinstall Microsoft Photos from the Microsoft Store
Open the “Microsoft Store” app from the Start menu.

Search and open “Microsoft Photos“.

Click on “Get” and wait for it to download and install…

Now try to open any photo, the app is working again!
