Do you want to transform all stereo sound on your PC to mono?
This tutorial is for you!
Making and enabling Mono audio on PC can be useful for some users especially if there are problems with a video or audio file that doesn’t sound right in stereo audio.
In this tutorial we will be sharing two methods to enable Mono audio in Windows 10 and older versions of Windows using Voicemeeter.
Let’s get started!
1. Enable Mono Audio on Windows 10 Using Ease of Access
Open your Settings app with the Windows+I shortcut.
Click on “Ease of Access“.

On the “Audio” section under “Hearing“, you will find the setting “Turn on mono audio“, click on it.

Now all your audio is set to mono.
If you don’t have this setting or if you are using older version of Windows then use the next trick.
2. Enable Mono Audio with Voicemeeter Banana
Download and install Voicemeeter from this official website: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/
After installing launch your program from the Desktop shortcut.

Set your playback device to “VoiceMeeter Input (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO)”

In your program Voicemeeter Banana or Voicemeeter set your HARDWARE OUT to your headphone device.

Make sure you have A1 enabled on your Voicemeeter VAIO and set the sound output to mono.

There you have it!
