Do you want to set up a kiosk device?
Usually, a kiosk device is used to do only a specific task such as browsing the internet or sending Emails…
You can set up a kiosk device right on Windows 10 and make it run only a single app (in our case it’s Microsoft Edge).
In this short tutorial, you will learn how easy it is to set up your own kiosk without installing any software, this feature was introduced on Windows 10 October 2018 update.
Let’s go!
Set Up a Kiosk Account on Windows 10
Open your Settings App using the Windows+I keyboard shortcut and click on “Accounts“.

Select the menu “Family & other users” and click on “Assigned access“.

Click on “Get started” to start creating your kiosk account.

Type the name of your kiosk account, click “Next“.

Select your kiosk app, there is no Google Chrome, only Microsoft apps are allowed here for maximum compatibility.
Click “Next“.

Select “As a public browser“, click “Next“.

Type in the home page URL and choose the interval after which the browser is restarted after inactivity.

If you want to change your kiosk app, open your Assigned accounts page and select your kiosk then click on “Change kiosk app“.

If you want to remove your kiosk all you have to do is click on “Remove kiosk“.

Confirm the removal of the kiosk.
