How to Download Fortnite on Windows 10 for Free

In this tutorial, we will be installing Fortnite on a Windows 10 PC and enabling auto-update for maximum compatibility and performance.

Download and Install Fortnite on PC for Free

Open this URL on a new tab: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/download

The download should start automatically.

Double-click on the installation program and click on “Run“.

Change the destination folder in case you are using an SSD drive and want to save some space.

Wait for a couple of seconds…

Launch the Epic Launcher and wait for the update to finish.

Sign Up for a new Epic Games account if you don’t have any…

Fill in your information.

You will receive a code in your Email, copy the code.

Paste the code in the launcher.

Click on “Store” and search for “fortnite” and click on the Fortnite icon.

Click on “GET“.

Click “Install” below the Fortnite game under Library.

Accept the User License Agreement.

Choose the install location.

Wait for the download to finish and there you have it!

If you want to uninstall Fortnite just open the Settings App and go to “Apps” and search for Epic Games and Uninstall it.
