Rufus is considered to be faster than the official Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool, Universal USB installer and UNetBootin.
And guess what? It doesn’t require any installation, it’s portable and free 100%!
If you are running into issues trying to create a UEFI bootable USB drive using third-party programs you can try Rufus, it’s more reliable and offers more features compared to other tools.

Bootable USB Drive of Windows 10 Using Rufus
Download Rufus from the official website and double-click on it to launch it. The program doesn’t require any installation, just open and you are good to go!

Connect your USB drive (at least 4GB) to your PC.
If you still don’t have a ISO of Windows 10, you can follow this guide to download Windows 10 ISO legally from Microsoft’s website.
Choose your USB Flash Drive in Device (use size or letter of drive). Then click on “SELECT“.

Locate your ISO image and click “Open” to load it in Rufus.

If you want you can set the file system to FAT32, but NTFS is faster compared to FAT32. Use FAT32 if you run into some problems booting the USB drive in UEFI mode.
Click “Start“.

The program will format your USB drive, click “OK” for confirmation.

You will notice how speed this program is, it’s lightning fast!

Rufus will format and copy all the files from the ISO image file, all you have to do is wait until the process is completed and your USB drive should be good.

There you go!
All you have to do is restart your computer and test your USB drive.
