Fix Low Microphone Volume on Windows 10
First, right-click on the “Sound” icon on your taskbar and choose “Open Sound settings“.
On the “Input” section, click on “Device properties” below the selection box for the microphone.
Increase the volume to 100
and test it using the button below.
There is another workaround by using the old Recording Devices menu.
Open Run prompt using Windows+R keyboard shortcut and run the command control mmsys.cpl
.
In the tab “Recording” select your Microphone and click on “Properties“.
Select the tab “Levels” and increase the volume to the max. Click “OK“.
