First, right-click on the “Sound” icon on your taskbar and choose “Open Sound settings“.

On the “Input” section, click on “Device properties” below the selection box for the microphone.

There is another workaround by using the old Recording Devices menu.

Open Run prompt using Windows+R keyboard shortcut and run the command control mmsys.cpl.

In the tab “Recording” select your Microphone and click on “Properties“.
